Fat bikes?!

All bikes are fun.
To say fat bikes are more or less fun than any other bike is a matter of opinion.

If you try to ride fat-tyres like a regular MTB, then you'll likely not enjoy the fat-bike experience. However, layoff the gas, point it up the kind of trail regular riders descend and enjoy the satisfaction of riding up stuff that would have been deemed impossible previously. When you get to the top, simply point it downhill and lean it into berms at ridiculous angles and enjoy the grip.

Currently own 2 surly pugsleys and a half fat jones, and had a few others!....

Mukluk, another pugsley and the moonlander....plus a krampus.

I can ride any of them all day, you will notice they are slower and heavier than a normal bike, that's obvious and even the 27lb lighter fatbikes are too.....let alone the 35lb+ ones...

But they do excel in so many ways, like traction, they climb up anything, you can explore places that are hard to even access my foot, let alone 2 wheels....4-8psi!

20mph along the beach!....tidal estuaries, flooded areas, marsh land, then inland the rocks and loose slate and gravel tracks, they soak it all up.....and leave less of a footprint due to there huge float.

Depends on what you want from your bike. A change from the norm? Or just a new toy to explore, when your away from normal cycling and trail centres, these do that too but there more at home at extreme places.
