Every farm in West Cumbria used to be painted in some fancy Grey paint that walked out of that place. A couple of my friends had sledges that would make any Olympic hopeful drool - Titanium.
 
I used to steal expensive and unusual mountain bikes AS a job of work.
I'd strip them down and sell the parts on Ebay, Gumtree and geeky little forums.

In February this year I was having a meet with the boss when he mentioned in passing that I was off pay- roll. Upon enquiring what that meant, imagine my surprise when he said that it meant I had been made redundant at Xmas. No one had thought to mention this to me , including his wife who ran the payroll and had a desk three feet from mine !

I am typing this on her laptop :cool:
