Would it be possible for someone with access to that page to pm his e-mail to me, pretty please? I would really like to see if he has anything left.

I'm not a member on MTBR, only RB, so I can't access the info.

You think it would be a bad idea to direct ex-component manufacturers to the forum? You think they wouldn't have interesting stories/information/technical help? He's offered vintage components to an MTB forum, and you think he shouldn't be pointed to retrobike?

You must know something we don't then?
 
John knows about this forum. He'll post when he wants to. Whether or not he does should tell you something.

He had an account on MTBR for nearly two years before he finally posted something.
