Seriously though, in manky conditions, my advice would be don't get too hung up about about these magic lubes, just have a bunch of chains, change them out regularly, bin them or use the partially worn ones for a beater bike. One on the bike, another couple being cleaned, oiled and ready to go - there's a very solid argument to buy chains in bulk too if you can.
