Good plan with the shock, I've got an air shock on mine which knocked almost a pound off compared to the Vanilla. BETD and TF Tuned do heavy-duty mount kits (with a full-length stainless spacer rather than aluminium "top hats" which last better than the standard setup too.

Thanks for that I've looked on both their websites and not found what you were referring to. Do you have a link.
I also need to order some bushes for the shock that I see tf tuned do.

That would be great. Thanks for your help.
I roughly measured the frame as 23mm on the front mount and 41mm on the rear.
I think the shock needs 12mm haven't measured the bolt holes yet.

I think it might be 22mm wide and an 8mm bolt at the front end. Bushing size depends on shock, some are 12mm, some are 0.5in, which isn't close enough to be the same ;) The BETD site lists bushings by shock, though, so that's not too much of a problem.

I definitely have the numbers somewhere -- mine's been through a couple of sets of bushings/spacers. As in literally a couple, not bad for 13 years use ;)

It's looking great.

I've got a 99 heckler sat in the garage with the paint half stripped off, going to polish that one too.

Did you wet and dry yours before polishing?

Just lacking inspiration at the mo, but hopefully seeing yours might spur me on ;)

Chris.
