Cheers bud,
this is been going on since the 14/12/10, i must point out i am NOT in mega pain..its just when i kneel down or if by accident my knee gets knocked ie..walking through town a shopping bag knocks it..i get a sharp burning sensation..not all the time.I didnt have this problem prior to this accident. Somebody said i might have some "floating debris". Thing is i got another 16 years of service before retirement.

Normal day to day work ok, i can run, cycling no problem. At 44 the body does degrade as a natrual progression. The doctor that did my assessment reckon there was no permanant damage, but just in case will refer me to a knee specialist.

If this takes another year to sort out financially so be it..i would rather go through the correct procedure..tick all the boxes. One thing the doctor said is that the third party insurers might not agree to me/or them paying to see the specialist. Another colleague said that they might offer money prior to seeing the knee specialist..to be honest i am taking this in its stride.

Thanks for the concern bud..

I had an altercation with a bus a few years ago and the bus company eventually admitted full responsibility for the accident but the whole process took nearly two and a half years (admittedly some of it was due to me being a bit slow in replying to some of the emails from my solicitor) but all the responses from the bus company were left until just before the deadline that they had to reply. Patience will be it's own reward.

Went to see a knee specialist on 13/01/12..report to be sent to my solicitor..still ongoing

A little update..full report has been prepared and sent to the third partys insurers..this is when the brinkmanship comes in..

So far i have lost £900 in replacements and overtime at work...i was fortunate that my employer paid me whilst i was off for 2 weeks..they want £985 back from the thirtd party..so just under £1900 before we get to compensation??

I will gladly share all the info/payout on this thread..so hopefully no one will ever need it{if that makes sense} ;)
