Got screwed on ebay, help me fix xtr

so I just bought a nice m972 rd and everythings great,

advertised as perfectly working


one thing

the derailleur hanger is so bent that it points basically towards the other chainstay.

its the upper shadow part, the part where the bolt goes through the frame

its a disk shaped piece that the bolt goes through, and everything else is attached below it, but the shop said there is no replacement part for that.

is there ANYTHING i can do?

I contacted the seller and havnt heard anything yet, but he said it was in perfect working condition and everything, i paid $88 with paypal

advice, fixes (i hope, i really want to just make this one work like replace the piece or whatever i have to do...)

Surely if you paid with paypal you can get your money back from them? Lodge a dispute if it's not what was described.

contact the UK importers for spare part. Sorry only advice i can give. Oh contact paypal ASAP

What does it look like from the rear ? Hard to tell from the angle it's taken from.
If it is bent I would dispute.


I thought it might be the B axle assembly

it just the bolt and the hanger is part of the main body.
