if this pic is after hospital then those cuts have been glued
his nose looks like a chunks missing from the side
poor dude
while drugs are illegal this will still happen
they should let them be given there drugs on prescription
this robbery is probably commited by a crack cocain addict
but they do not want to cure this from our streets
they prefer order out of chaos
an drugs crime benefits the security industry
cctv sales an metal shutters etc
if they took the approach that portugal has taken to drugs
then the police would not have to spend all there time chasing
after people that comit these acts for there drug habbit
the war on drugs can never be won with the current methods
of tackling it an thats what they want
they want poor people fighting over bread crumbs at the bottom
while the rich scof posh nosh an drink champers in there ivory towers without a care for what goes on elsewhere
bunch of darwin an eugenics lovers
they could fix this its 2014 an we still have to put up with this madness its foul,
that the rest of the world sees a 1st world country
letting this happen when they could cure it,

I love the way you take a tragic story and then use it to go off on a rant about the governments drugs policy with absolutely zero evidence whether that was part of the motive.

if they had there drugs given to them they would not steal

i own a 8 camera cctv setup because of drugs
3 times i have had drug addicts trying to break in

I'm hopelessly addicted to cold hard cash. Surely to be fair to me, the gummint, gawd bless their souls g'vnor, should arrange for me to be supplied sufficient money to quench my addiction.
Surely I'm just as deserving of a lifestyle I don't deserve... and to no longer have to consider the consequences of my choices? Or is that just the domain of the religious and those that's choice of addiction runs to the pharmaceutical?

I reckon that most people have misconceptions regarding drug policies in Portugal. Law-enforcement agencies may slack on prosecuting drug addicts but that doesn't mean it's so very easy and affordable to get hold of narcotics in first place. I've been assaulted by drug addicts in the past, occasionally they get beaten up by Judiciary Police or other drug enforcement agencies. Thankfully it's nothing compared to united states policies but it sure ain't like red light district as well.
I haven't seen many violent crimes related to drug addiction on the news but unfortunately it has happened in the past and may happen in the future.
i hope the best for that kid, nobody deserves such thing like that.
