I thought I'd stick up a post here for posterity - I'm selling this bike but hadn't got round to a build thread. Well, "build" thread is hardly fair, because I bought it as it is, it's just had some damn good cleaning/servicing in its time with me! It rides lovely, the forks give next to no travel but do a good job of taking the sting out. I don't think the previous owner had used it much so it's in rather good condition overall. What do y'all think?
If anyone fancies buying it (£100), follow the link in my signature.
Frame: 19" triple butted cro-mo (well, let's say at least one tube on the frame is TB...)

Fork: RST 1618 (not much travel - don't think there ever was! - but smooth and springy). Slight split in fork boot.

Shifters/grips: Gripshift
Chainset: Altus
Rear mech: Acera-X
Front mech: Altus
Headset: Diatech
Stem & bars: M-lite
