Anyway, about that Yeti - there's a bit of seat post stuck IN the frame? Looks like someone has gnawed at the top of the seat tube as well.

And what's going on with the paint? Or lack of. They just lacquered the metal?

So has the post been cut off and is now lodged at the bottom of the seat tube? what other damage does it have?

I like it, think this could look cool... :cool:

That's what got me onto this one. I would like to build up a sleeper rat rod. Mountain Klein anyone?

But the seat post is still in there. :shock:
 
I'm not dissing it. I am looking for input on the seat post. If it the tube is that chawed up I am wondering if the rest of the post will ever come out. From the text, it appears that a new post will only go in a few inches. To me the bike is useless if I can't know more about the post. How many inches of post are still in there. Has the hacksaw technique been used, etc.

Other than that, it's a Yeti. Yes, a Pro, and not uncommon, but may have potential.
