Just bought my son his first BMX and I want to relive my youth and show him how its done. I realise I'm taller and a little heavier so I need your advice. My build is medium and my height is 5' 11". What recommendations can you make regarding wheel size, frame size. make and model. Cheers.

I'm 5'11 dude, but only a measly 11 stone but ride pretty comfortably - I've seen all sorts of shapes and sizes riding them - you can make adjustments according to your size.
I'd say 20" wheel size - standard BMX - or a 24" cruiser - you can get some real nice old school cruisers in good nick still.

Definitely get a 24" cruiser I reckon..Or even something like a newish 26" cruiser such as a OM flyer or similar? I'm a similar height and must say that I feel a bit of a plum riding 20 inch wheels these days

I agree with mynchiboy on the OM FLYER. I have an 08 and absolutely love it. I am 6'0 and weigh 265 pounds. The thing is super stiff and responds very well.
