Ti Prep or Copperslip?

Personally I have used Coppaslip on my Litespeed, but in a minute no doubt someone will post an exact reason why that was a bad idea.

P.

I have used some of that Finish Line Assembly gunk, bloody messy and according to Lynskeys normal grease is fine anyway

So its now Finish Line Teflon grease and no problems to report thus far

Ti Prep or Copperslip? Which should I use for a Ti build?

They're both essentially the same thing. I've used both and not noticed any difference at all.

the only dif between finishline ti prep and copperslip is copperslip is thicker and it doesn't matter which one you use ;) ;) just as long as you use one

Cheers gus, anyone need some come round my house 'cos I've just bought a big pot of Ti Prep to go with my big pot of Coppaslip

The big issue is not to get a titanium thread in direct contact with another bit of Ti thread - it'll gall and cold weld together. That's where the copper stuff comes in.
Other metals are, I believe, OK in Ti (my Daddy's a metalurgist).
