work out the bb length you need?
im trying to get my bits together and have now sorted me cranks and frame now just trying to decide what bb to look for??

I keep all my old BB's of varying lengths (equally you could source some old ones from a friendly LBS) and try them with the cranks until I find the right length, then go and buy that BB new

you only need 2 or 3 to give you a good idea of what length you need. One really short, one really long and one in between and take it from there.
