Picked this up yesterday but can't work out what it is 
First thought was an early rockhopper, helped by the spesh crown race that was fitted but the dates dont add up.
Serial number is AS892860 with R2 also on the BB shell
Under stay Ubrake is a BR-m453 with a 1990 date code and the rear derallieur is a M732 dated 1989
any help appreciated.
