Apologies for the delay this month; I've had a few things going on at home. Just a regular month for June so get your entries in. Must have been plenty of building going on the past few weeks!

Useful for the poll if you can structure your nomination as follows:

username's Year Manufacturer Model , e.g. John's 1990 Kona Lavadome
Image(s) MAXIMUM OF 2
Finally please include a link to your machine in the relevant Reader's Bikes section. If you don't have an existing post now is the time to add one with as much detail as you like!

Nominations thread will run for the entire month. Entries submitted after June 30th will not be counted. The poll will go up shortly after the nominations close and will run for a week.

Re:

Can I put my bike forward?

Raliegh Handbuilt Titanium 600 frame, one of the last Raliegh Special Products bikes with mainly XT kit, inc XT thumb shifters! which I still love. Circa 1999? Not exactly original spec, but still fab to ride.

Its been in the garage for far too long so I pumped up the tyres and went for a fab 20mile ride on it Tuesday whilst it was lovely and sunny.

Hope you guys like it :)

Hi 5 That’s a Lovely bike - but sadly too new

Rules state it has to be, or pre-date 1997

So sorry but the admins will pull it

1989 Kona Cinder Cone - BoTM Nomination

Hi All,

I would like to put forward this lovely example of a 1989 Kona Cinder Cone.

RetroGra's 1989 Kona Cinder Cone (18" Frame)

viewtopic.php?f=6&t=413377

Recently acquired as the first in an anticipated smallish collection of 1989 and 1990 Kona's.

The bike is pretty near all original and is in a lovely un-abused condition.

I have wanted one of these for 30 years and finally got one !

I don't think many things come near to the art that is the splatter paint job.
