Just seen this and thought it was a Team so had a bid. Looks ok so going to go for it.

91 and 92 brochures on here show different colours for the Team. Upgraded 92 Pine Mountain?

EDIT: Decal does seem to be two 4 and 5 letter words. Marin's never seem to match the brochures!

XT equipt so definitely not an Elders.. Pine or Team

my money, 20p of it. is on eldridge grade.
team had rear canti brake routed on top tube and pine mountain had a silver headset locknut, ritchey one.

I didn't look that carefully, but rear mech routing is wrong for a Team I think.

Hmmmmm, confusing this one as it has the groupo from the team (except rims) and the decals seem to have the right amount of letters for 'team marin'. I'm no expert so don't know the frame details that seem to be wrong but i'd think it would have been a lot of effort to turn an eldridge in to a team? If the seller gets back to me i'll ask what the decal says.

Had a look in the archive and the cable routing does seem wrong for the Team as the rear mech cable should be routed along the top tube

It's correct for the Eldridge and Pine Mountain though. Looks more like an Eldridge but the PM came with RM17 rims. Still can't see why you'd change every part of the group set, including hubs within a couple of years of the bike being new when the standard kit would have been DX or LX. A couple of mechs, maybe the shifters I could see but the whole lot???

Colour is def 1991 Eldridge. The Pine is more Orange, the Team would be a Pink / Purple. I went through a couple of rear derailleurs in the first couple of years I had my Pine, never had enough cash to replace with XT though. I dont recognise the crank set. Is that 91 XT?
