yeah - zazkar le (which i now understand to be quite good) cooks cranks, ringle hubs and (hopefully) some more good kit for 100 bucks!!! (40pounds)

Congrats, £40 for a fully kitted Zaskar is s superb bargain! now if you dont want those wheels, let me know

Personally i'd consider dipping the cranks in caustic soda and polishing them up as silver as the annodising has been heavly worn.

Let us know the full parts list when it arrives, a bike like that with the visible upgrades is bound to have some other nice suppirses in store.

If you want to know the year, it's somewhere between 1993-1995.
Earlier and they had u-brakes. Later and the head tube gusset was below the down tube.

I reckon these are the Best of the Zaskar frames, well done you.

jerky - always had problems with caustic soda, turns everything black. is this the best way to get rid of the anodizing???? they do look all scratched up
