Zaskar 1994 / 1995 Colour Help

Hi all,

I'm trying to rebuild a replica of my GT Zaskar I built when I was aged 15/16 and am struggling with the colour and how to match it. I know that there was aqua, purple and ink blue however, does anyone know what the colour is in this image old Zaskar ad and my original bike?

It's close to ink blue but not quite?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey! This is an ink blue model. They pop up now and then, check the USA ebay aswell as the uk and german etc.

Worth remembering that many of the bikes your seeing now will of faded somewhat as that will be a major factor in matching them up.

Bare in mind they were anodised dyed aluminium rather than painted

It’s ink blue. As mentioned all Zaskars are usually faded.

Thanks, @d8mok I think they much have had a darker Ink Blue in early 90's as it was definitely a different a darker blue than other friends of mine that had ink blue later in the mid / late 90's.

As far as I’m aware they only did ink blue in 95. Other blues came and went but I’m sure it was 95 only for Ink. I may be wrong though on years but certainly only one shade.

I have a 95 ink blue Zaskar and its faded, worn down and pitted from many years of use so it looks lighter than that. You can get the frames cleaned and re-anodized if you care and have the $.
