Well done Dyna, glad it has gone to someone with build taste :)
Cheers TK although looking at a few Trimble paint jobs "taste" may be a disadvantage on this one . I'll get a build thread going soon but in the mean time here's a pic of it stripped of its commuting garb.

Nice!
Why is the chainring spider so big?
Not sure, according to the previous owner a mate of his used to race downhill for Cook Brothers BITD and this was his race bike?? (its got a road cassette and rear mech so that kinda makes sense) I'll do some further digging and see what info I can get out of him about its history.

cool......give me a shout if you want to get rid of/swap those forks :D
You can gladly have the elastomers from the forks once I extract them, they are the super firm version with approximately 0mm of travel  . Sorry the forks will be getting refurbed and staying on the bike.

Ha ha.....no its ok I have some of those elastomers fitted to my Manis already. Don't blame you keeping them. Gil_m has those fork decals on file btw. I got some when i was refurbishing mine.

Ahh excellent, the decals are peeling off on one side so definitely need replacing. Did you get replcement elastomers for yours then?? I've seen these, dunno if there are other options:

Thank goodness. I feel so much better seeing the "after" photo of this bike.
Did you first see it here Dynacol?
