You know Summer has finally arrived when...

• a) Your cycle computer thermometer tops 40 deg. C on your way HOME from work
  b) You struggle to achieve 30km/h into a 40 knot headwind that feels more like a giant hair dryer blowing in your face
  c) The water in your biddon goes from 'fridge chilled' to 'fresh fron the kettle' in the first 2 minutes of riding
  d) You go through a whole biddon of water on the 12km ride home
  e) Your tongue feels as f you've been licking a sawdust pile seconds after taking a drink
  f) You literally feel like you're melting when you get off the bike & there's no wind passing over your body

Can i say on behalf of every retrobike member in the Northern hemisphere who has not seen a blade of grass, nor a blue sky for six weeks and whose winkies have shrivelled to half size in the sub zero temperatures,, piss off and choke on a lollie stick!!

I'm in the Northern Hemisphere ... it got down to 25 degrees C on my commute yesterday. Mind you, it was 5.45am.

Still, with the humidity I was wetter than an otter's pocket by the time I got there.
