Had my bike from 1989 had powdered with what I think is right colour
could not afford to get yellow done as all I could find was i think a kilo of powder, if any one knows where to get it cheap would still get it done,
shame about rear onza 2.25 rubs with anything more than soft, really need some straight handle bars love some hyperlites silver, glad to get 1 1/4 xt headset, overall happy with results , My old mate back to life

Paintwork is great.
I wouldn't do the yellow, it is just fin as it is right now.

Just get some time period skinwall's or amber Tioga's.

cheers
Jeroen

Thanks for comments, will change tyres asap as it is not really rideable, cantilevers would be good cannot remember getting the v brakes but will look about for the canties. someone has messaged me about some hyperlites hate the look of the bars , cheers Dave

very nice! yes those tyres make it look very 'portly' if you are ridng it regularly, kenda makes some nice 1.9 tyres that visually look about the right size. they are on my '92 zaskar in the link below.

vees might not be period but they work well. will be nice when you get some flat bars on it, put up another pic once you done that so we can admire! :)

Yes the tyres are two big not just the look feels spongy to ride ,tyres look good on the zaskar, the brakes are working really well at the moment with new blocks, I really want to start using properly again not be a museum piece
can always get it repainted in the future and after finding this site refit as well.

Looks great - try mombat for some tyres - they do reproduction panaracer Timbuk II which would go great on this. (And they work really well too)
