Yellow attack..trek 8900 carbon...birmingham

Funnily enough Steve, as soon as I saw it I thought..I bet he puts it on the watch list

i'm sure one of these come before and someone mentioned about the forks??

Anyone else going for this? - Wouldn't want to bid up another retrobike member unnecessarily.
With a bit of work, that could be the Schnutts though.... bet most remember this from the Richard's Ultimate Bicycle book.

Cheers.

I used to have that exact bike with the RS1, XC-PRO, funky turbo saddle and the works. Bought it brand new in 94 or 95 for about $600... sat around for a couple years. Then a couple years later some bike shop clamped down too hard on the front der and cracked the frame. Trek replace it with a 9.9 Pro.
