Hi, Has anybody got a broken XTR m97- series rear mech that they could spare one of the bolts that go through the cages and jockey wheels? They have threaded ends and a groove for an e-clip.

Cheers, James.

Re:

And also a pair of jockey wheels for the same. Genuine Shimano would be good but could go aftermarket alloy ones if they are black and not expensive.

Cheers, James.

Are you still looking? I discovered that a mech I bought a long time ago now has a bent b axle and can't find a spare part so it's ripe for pillaging from. it's an m972 shadow version if that matters?

Hi,
Sorry for the late reply. Yes I am still after one jockey wheel bolt, the plastic protective black cover from the front of the mech (not sure if Shadows have them)and both jockey wheels. I reckon they must all be interchangeable but I will have a look at the Shimano Tech Doc website to check. Cash available at the end of the month!

Cheers, James.

Re:

Hi,
I have had a look at the Tech Docs and it looks like the jockey wheel bolts are the same albeit the closest one to the main body of yours is about 1mm longer than the bottom one. This is the part I really need ie just the jockey wheel bolt (longer one if possible). The shadow versions don't come with the plastic protective cover so that's a no no. Both Jockey wheels would be good too but I would imagine you would keep them as spares and I could live the worn ones.

Cheers, James.

Happy to part with jockey wheels and bolts as I doubt I'll find a b axle. I'll keep the rest as spares, just in case.
