XT BB 118/122 - biopace 38T (or 48/38 combo) - and advice!

Hi, im starting to tidy up an old peugeot 531 MTB..

... and Im after some chainrings for the xt-730 crankset.

I have a NOS 48T biopace so if i could find a 38T then that would be cool!

If not then i would be interested in any suitable replacement, not necceasry to be biopace.

I also need a BOTTOM BRACKET as well, there is a 122 cup and cone one on ebay for £45 that would be perfect. If it wasn't £45

Finally, can anyone explain why the old XT730 cup n cone BB was 118 length but sheldon says it should be 122?

Which one should i go for? Original factory fitted shimano BB or sheldon?

got a set of rings biopace 28-38-48 from MountainLX cranks:

You can have them for 18GBp incl postage
Also I should have an axle from DX/XT BB, 122,5mm - unfortunately probably without cups (can check it at home again)

Thanks marcin, i might bear it in mind for now and see what else comes along.

Shame about the cups too: the ones i have are rusted on one side..

Holes in memory got whole bb
Overal condition is v.good, one little visual "-" showed in last picture (IMO that's not important for using values)

You can have it for 14GBp, or if posted with rings together for 28GBp
Ofc all prices includes postage as a recordered, priority mail with tracking & insurance
