XC Pro VS XT, Compatibility Issues

Hi guys ,

Just a quick question , the XC pro thumbshifters ,I remember them, but cant remember if will they work with :

XT Rear Mech
7Spd XT Block

And do they have the ability to be turned onto Friction Mode..

I would appreciate a prompt response to this one as I am trying to make a decision.. and get back to the guy..

my Panasonic is set up with XC Pro thumbies, XT mid cage mech and XT 12-26 cassette. Does it work? It works excellent!

I know it's late getting another reply since you already bought them, but more good news is that they have a small lever on the side that changes them to friction mode. For sure on the right side (rear der), not 100% certain about the left (front der). SUPER light !!
