wtd - old hope headset

Hi I am after an old hope headset I have a good set of cups and bearings but I am missing the rest - so hoping someone has a knackered one I can use the crown race and top bearing cover bit off.
Alternatively just an old one would do !

The bits you need are all available from Hope as spare parts. AFAIK the crown race is the same size and spec. for the current model as the old one, and I think the bearing cover is too. Designs are a bit different, that's all

Bear in mind that the new top cap uses a different bolt so if you want a new top cap then order a bolt too - or get a Head Doctor.

So, if no-one here can help then your LBS should be able to! The above parts are pretty cheap too, it's the cups, bearings and Head Doctor that push up the cost of a new headset.

There is a different race for pre 1997 headsets I know I'm after one.
CRC sell all the parts when they are in stock.

yes i have just been having a look and seems to work out pretty expensive too (crown race £5.99) really when i just wanted to see if anyone had the old parts and i could cobble one together on the cheap for a hack, just seemed a shame to waste the good cups and bearings.
