aren't Delta Cruisers only available in the old 26 x 1 3/8" and road 700c sizes only (ie not MTB 26")? Shame you're not local to me as I have a pair of Fat Franks here (26 x 2.35") which are 50 miles old, but it would be pricey posting them

I'm glad you pointed that out as I was confused about that sizing!

IT's ok I just need to rethink tyre choice, fast rolling tyres for dry weather towpaths mainly for this fire mountain rigid rocket I'm building for my Dads birthday!

cheers

looks a tasty project... Michelin Country Rock are good for tow paths and very light dry trails as well as street use, bit like a BMX tread pattern and only about a tenner each from CRC last time I checked. Schwalbes tend to be a bit more pricey, City Jets are good and lighter than Marathons which are better for touring :D

I'll get back to you silentphoenix mate

Opinions on Specialized crossroads? They're only a tenner at the mo near me and although are 1.95's and have flakjacket protection, are tempting me...

can't see why not... one thing I found with Mary bars though was when I used wide DMR Zip grips I didn't have enough room for shifters and brake levers, so I had to use STIs... but not had that problem with any other grips 8)

This is the style police, we have information that leads us to believe you are intending to use v-brakes on your latest build. This is an offense and will lead to raised eyebrows and several "tuts". Please reconsider the canti law.
