WTD Long shot! 22.2 to 31.8 handlebar shim

This is a long shot, I should imagine I will need to buy a new stem or import a shim from Moots...but does anyone have a bar shim taking 22.2 to 31.8

Pfft, no idea! I guess if the stem faceplate can clamp tight enough then yes (which should be normal tightness).

Its not ideal though.

I think i have a 22.2 to 25.4 shim which you can have. Can post until late next week though and you WILL have to remind me to post it, moving house see.

If your taken by 2 shim idea, let me know.

Is this for drop bars on mtb?

Drop bars? No. I hate drop bars on a road bike! The shims are for some Moots Ti risers I have just bought from Martin

Not sure about two shims, think it wouldn't clamp properly :? Are you really that fond of the stem? Can't help thinking it might look odd or even ugly :shock:

If you pick up an off-cut off 22.2id 31.8od tube and split it in two that'll sort it.
