WTD FULL SUSS Rocky Mountain Altitude medium

Re:

Can't help with getting one, but these change through the years.
What style are you looking for?

And by medium, you you mean 18.5" or 19.5"?

Looking for a 17/18" suitable for 5'10" and with 26" wheels as the 27.5" tax criminal!

Re:

17.0"/17.5" is small the smallest they made.

(I'm 5'10, 18.5" too small for me, 20.0"/19.5" spot on, you legs and preferences may vary of course)
(half inch varies depending on year ;-))

I'd recommend looking in the catalogues and seeing what you're after.

17.5 has a 22" top tube, pretty much the same dimensions as other medium frames. But limbs play a big part as you say, everyone is different. I am 5.10 also and have always rode medium, in RM sizing the 17.5 is the size that fits me.

Re:

Kona medium is 23.0" top tube, aka the 19", with S and XS below, L and XL above.
(~middle of the size range, as is the 18.5" here, anything smaller is small)

18 and 19" being Kona frame sizes for 5'10" people as per their sizing guides.

Which is why I asked frame size. Medium means feck all.

I had forgotten they made the XS Altitude's for the 93 year (and 94-95 iirc) though, don't see many of them around.

22" toptube is a Kona 16" frame, smallest they made for most frames, that XS ;-)

Again why I asked for a specific frame size. It's spelt out in the catalogues and I hope people know what they are looking for.

So any year will do?
1991 - 1997?

Here's a 1992 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rocky-Mounta ... 01&mkevt=1 in Small 17.0"

or get ready for a 1993 model with the seat binder https://www.ebay.de/itm/Retro-seltene-R ... 01&mkevt=1

Keep and eye on http://www.retrobike.co.uk/auction/resu ... at=cycling too.

or bring one over from Canada if they find any https://www.facebook.com/groups/VintageCanadianMTB
(they have more luck, also try German sites)

I'm after a Full Suss Altitude but a later 26er with the straight up geo

Sorry, you're after a modern thing 2009+.
Appologies, didn't see the section (Altitude stopped in 1997) and just assumed RetroBike ;-)

2007 - 2011* is modern even by the 98+ section. That's after the forum started.

Good luck finding one,

*no idea of all years, I know they went 27.5" in 2012

I think you may be able to delete post on your for sale thread, but un sure.
