I’m looking for the last two parts for my 1975 Harry Quinn, then it’s just the cables and the chain and it’s on the road.
I’m after a Campagnolo seatpost, 27.2 – although the record post with the straight stem which then recedes to a dull metal is more period, I’d prefer the sleeker look of the Chorus, or one with the looks of the C-Record – though I doubt I’ll be able to afford a C-Record.
I’m also looking for a brown Brooks saddle in good nick – either B17, B17 Narrow, Swift or Swallow. Titanium if you’ve got it. I doubt anyone will be wanting to get rid of such a Brooks, but it’s always worth checking – reckon with shopping around, I could get a new one of the above in Ti for £140/160. If anyone has any shop recommendations, I’m all ears.
