WTB TITANIUM SST SADDLE

These are often on the bay.

They arent the originals though are they? Though they didnt have a solid rear of yellow, just the corners?

Depends on what you mean by original. The 98 was the one with corners and the 2k with the whole back, think the number related to the year. Neither are the 2010 versions though

Sorry, I mean the originals to me being around 1997 and 98 on GTs.

So your analysis is spot on.

Going to watch this as need a new seat on my Specialized after donating it's original Wtb seat to my Carerra road bike

I'm not sure that all 2Ks had the whole back. Also there were variations between the corner editions, I think it was the later ones where the corner came further forward. I suppose it was a trade-off between the more kevlar being the most practical, the less kevlar being the best looking. This full-kevlar version looks quite ugly to me.

It was only a couple of years ago that I bought on eBay a small red corners edition with full Wilderness Trail Bikes stitching, NOS for £9.99 from a bike shop. I wish I had bought a few more as they had them for a while. It is shown below. They seem to have increased in market value since then.

BITD, they used to have a reputation for being uncomfortable, and in particular some people objected to sitting on stitching (MBR said 'we say NO to stitching'), but I must say I find them perfectly comfortable. But then I'm old, and these youngsters are quite soft you know.
