Wot happened to fat bikes

I'm currently having my second winter of ,2025 in Australia but have been unable to find a quality fat bike to buy second hand Went Nordic ski touring instead.

I'm sat browsing the web and waiting for a delivery of Lekkie bike parts to bring back to the UK in a couple of weeks......for my ICT e conversion.

Decent snow up Thredbo way at the moment. I have been trying to ride through the NSW winter (albeit not on a fattie) but there have been some very bike-unfriendly weeks this year.

I was at Perisher and Falls Creek. Plenty of snow but very solid and icy......perfect for my (left at home)Johnny 5 tyres! Very happy to XC ski though......
