Worst nightmare? Possibly not, definitely Top 3

i managed to leave my keys in the door of my car(440 gle with metallic paint and electric everthing )a few years ago in the middle of bennets carpark in the worst part of yarmouth(ie the road into it heheheh).the next day i remembered and thought the car would be gone.i trunddled off to the local copshop to see if the car had been knicked.i was very happy to discover that some one had seen the car and locked the doors and handed the keys in.my faith was restored in humanity until a few weeks later when some drug taking scumbag trashed my car just to pinch the 15 quid speakers for his next fix.got the dirt bag on a drop of blood he left when he took a run at the car bonnet and slipped.soco got him on that.turns out he was a prolific scumbag and this was his night time hobby...he got fined ...i got a car with broken everything...still unhappy about it now.mind you when my bike got stolen...then i was mad.

my girlfriends father was the claims officer ...had the whole thing sorted from claim to cheque in 4 days.personnaly the work i put into that bike i would want the bike back instead.

i remember being woken up by the dog and my dad to tell me some little sh1ts where braking into the garage i court the little F**KER and his mate the other two got away i might add i got my head split open but it was worth it knowing when he left court that he resived a 11pm-5am no go and i got £200 compensation (iv'e never seen the money) he's 18 soon and he knows im gonna beat the living sh1t out of him and he runs when he see's me (im nice to everyone except scumbags no time for them)   but i know that uneasy feeling always had it when i was overseas

if you use the co-op for your insurance using there cis you can bolt you bikes onto the house hold policy for what there are really worth for very little extra cheaper than crappy cycle guard   (cycle guard offer 15% of the premium to use at work for every policy we sell so far in two years iv'e pushed or sold a policy im proud to be a real nice cyclist and not halfords

Wednesday night I had run through some dog doo on the way home from work  so when I got to the house I took the bike straight through on the rear wheel (as you do) and out to the back yard where I gave the whole bike a thorough clean up.

It was only when I went to get a shirt for work the next day I realised that I didn't have my rucsac. I eventually found it outside the front door where I had left it the previous evening.... Everything was still there including wallet, cards, change, work ID, in fact my whole life  . I live in a fairly rough area and was amazed (and still am) that nobody lifted it.

I take care to put the bag in the entrance hall now before I put the bike in the hallway.....

I've done worse than that, I left for work one morning and found that i'd left the garage door open all night , with the light on!!! with all the bikes and tools lined up at the front.....The Mrs was not impressed

my wife left the keys to my car in the door or the car when swapping child seats.

the car was stolen and written off

couldn't claim on insurance as she left keys hanging in door.
