Within half a mile of work today I realised that I had left the shed door open. That would be bad enough but I'd been in the shed this morning, bikes were strewn all over the back garden and the bin men were due. My sphincter tightened, my shorts went baggy as a result, made worse by the fact that I had work appointments that I couldn't escape from.

A dodgy moment for sure, now all sorted. Worryingly though was that one of my initial thoughts was that if everything was gone I could start again and learn from my mistakes, albeit with no money.

Must be careful of what I wish for……..

Phew!!

Its a horrid feeling knowing something isnt as it should be at home, but not being able to do anything about it.

Flippin' 'eck lad!

Must have been some meeting? I can't imagine anyone or anything keeping me at work in that situation.

Cheers,Al

You know, it must be human nature that as something catastrophic is unfolding the mind is already making contingencies and sort of saying 'it's OK, it's not a problem, we can sort it...'

I've noticed the same with myself on a few occasions.

Glad you got it sorted though.

i am so fond of my old lava dome that i'm considering wall-arting the frame purely cos it's less like to get stolen or killed that way

Scary stuff indeed....in my old house I went to London for the night and left the front door open (I left via the back door which I locked  ), when I say open I don't mean unlocked I mean fully ajar

Fortunately it was a one horse town with no crime and I got away with it. If I did the same thing where I live now we wouldn't even have any carpets left....

good man.

yes we left front door gaping wide, in the middle of the day for a few hours. no problem when we got back. hopefully any self respecting burglar would assume nobody's stupid enough to leave their door open if they weren't in...
