Never owned a stand , I prefer to sit down while I work . Did nearly buy a feedback elite yesterday though There's little reason for the bike to be in the air . Once the headset is in , forks , stem and the wheels it can sit on the ground . Before anyone mentions gears , place the bike along side a table or something similar , lean the bike so the seat is on the edge and push on the bar . Look at that the rear wheels in the air and you can pedal it with your other hand too .

Seen the Draper 'Heavy Duty' workstand under £20.. worth it?

What's the best bang for buck in workstands?

I've got one and it does what I want most of the time. The only problem I've found is when I need to lift the front end off the floor. Other than that, worth the dosh imo

Decathlon do a very sturdy one for £50.

My sisters next door neighbour leaves his park stand set up in the garden all year round.
A lesser individual would have had that away :twisted:

ive got one of the Decathlon ones......picked it up from the dump virtually new!

Few (more than I care to remember) years back someone would've had the option of a pretty much unused turbo trainer from the dump.. iirc paid £110 for it..
