workshop diaries - whats happening in your workshop ??????

brewery/workshop.....tidied fully and me and a very good friend started getting my xr2 started,nearly struck up but not fully,bloody old cars lol
garage/karens side/bike storage side..........cleaned and tidy,made a potting bench for the wife.
garage/my side and workshop.........tidied and cleaned.treks nearly finished and slowly sorting spares out
been quit busy really lol

Spent most of today tinkering in the garden but plenty going on in the workshop. Stripped forks out of Cotic to send away for repair and got the Yo frame ready for paint. This mornings big job though was finally shooting some 501 Rosso Alfa paint onto my Giulia Coupe. 6 months of work gone into the body so far and at last it's starting to look good.
Need to tidy before I do anything.
Off to the 2nd day of a car show today, so doubt I'll get to do owt.
But, when I do find time I want to;
Fit skinwall smoke/dart to the RTS
Fit skinwall Psychos to the Karakoram
Fit DX seatpost to the Stumpjumper
Fit SPD's to the Protrax
Buy and install some large storage hooks to hang my bikes from the shed ceiling

Hmm - refitted drop bars and rear mech to the Witcomb followed by tidying and tweaking it ready for selling.
Realized the rest of the fleet are in serious need of a clean. Started search for new "rivet" thing that holds stay to crud rear race guard.

Yesterday stripped the wheels down on my whiskeytown racer to send to ck to have my xc pro hubs built onto my newly aquired nos ma40's.
Took apart the mag 10's I just got off Doug and took them to the engineering shop to have the steerer threaded for my rocky mountain.
Started gathering together some of the bits to build my new goat when it arrives.
Think this afternoon I mat have a tidy up :roll:
Yesterday stripped the wheels down on my whiskeytown racer to send to ck to have my xc pro hubs built onto my newly aquired nos ma40's.
Took apart the mag 10's I just got off Doug and took them to the engineering shop to have the steerer threaded for my rocky mountain.

Started going through boxes of old bits to see what I've still got and there must be another somewhere as I'm missing a bundle of bits ... Grrr.
Pulled out old 88 Cinder Cone Frame to start cleaning up. Needs alot of TLC but sound overall.
Started stripping down the Mtn Goat for service & rebuild now I've got most of the bits.
Tried to create space for all the tyres and new NOS Flite saddles I keep buying!
Managed to get up the LBS and order everything I want so I can build up the new project in a few weeks time

(The woman was out for the day..... Be lucky to get one of the above done normally)!

I haven't had the most productive week in the garage. really all I've done of late is the following:
Finish the cabling on the Hot before I pull it apart so that the head tube can be properly faced as the headset cups are out of alignment.
Put some pedals on the RC200 and took it for its first ride. I still need to put a longer chain on it and some new shift cables and the rear tyre is on the wrong way too, but thats how it came to me.
Got rid of a table today which was taking up bike space and
Thought of looking at the XC Pro shifting on the DOGS BOLX as Wednesday's global ride proved that it was dreadful in comparison to any Shimano offering. Got as far as clicking once or twice and then deciding I need to get some more stuff from myLBS.
Next week could see me finish 3 bikes, but may also see me do very little...
