Here's my work bike for the year. I've been working in Eastern Idaho a lot since January, two weeks there, then home for two weeks. I rented a really nice bike from the LBS but that got expensive after the first weekend. I purchased this all original Giant Boulder from a local listing for $40. I gave it tune up in my hotel room and added a few things from home. Not sure of the year. It's a lower spec bike with Shimano SIS parts but has been a great ride. Seat post is seized and it's a bit big for me but I really like the way it rides. I've put several hundred miles and counting on it so far. I store it in the maintenance room at the hotel during the weeks I'm home and once this job is finished I'll be giving it away.
I'm currently using the Kuwahara with the Frontrack still fitted from the last tour and I'm pleased that I don't have to carry the rucksack on my back in the heat.
My most ridden bike: goes down to the allotments, takes me to and from my workshop in Altrincham almost daily - has no fancy components 100% parts-bin build, plus this 1997 frameset cost me £80 on ebay from a very nice Gentleman in London - I took bubble wrap and packing tape with me and brought this frame and forks back up north on Avanti West Coast line - effectively re-patriating it to where it originated from
I like this frameset so much I just bought myself another one from 1996 and will be building that one up for fear the above ever gets stolen or accident damaged etc.
