Won't shift into smallest cog on cassette - Campag 9 Speed

As per above,

I've been running in a newly-built (modern) frame. Groupset is a Campagnolo Racing T rear mech & matching front mech. Wheels are Campag Khamsin 9 speed.

I don't fettle with gears much (try not to anyway) however I can't get into the smallest cog on the cassette - if I give the cable a tug it will move across and stay in the gear which isn't an ideal situation but at lest it doesnt skip out of gear once in!

Can someone shed some light on this, the gear cable seems to have adequate tension. I think it's a simple fix...

Assuming you have clean cables and none of the outers are damaged...

Select top gear.
Disconnect the cable, adjust the limit screw until the chain runs in top gear cleanly.
Pull the cable taut and re-clamp.

You might need to adjust the shifting a little using the cable tensioner, but Campag is pretty tolerant.

That's great. Without sounding daft do you mean top gear as in the smallest cog yes?
