I sold my green '98 one of these a few year back, which I had from new, before I found this site - got AU$200 for the frame a a few bits - probably should have hung on to it and built myself a single speed out of it... oh well.

It too developed a crack in the pivot at the rear drop out, but Kona replaced the whole seat stay assembly (they had on in stock!) rather than needing to get it welded up - very impressive for what was then an 8 year old (and low volume-ish)bike.
