Winter gloves recommendations.

Pearl Izumi make some great gloves but they also make rubbish ones. Whatever you do, don't buy the Elite Thermal. Thin, not at all windproof or water resistant. I ended up using my goretex Burton snowboard gloves last year. Used to have some "regular" spesh storm force bitd; they were great until they became more hole than glove....

Depending on how many hours you're out there too.

When I was a bike messenger through a Scandinavian winter, we all kept a fresh pair of gloves under our jerseys to change into when the first pair was just too cold. Best bike-related trick I ever learned TBH.
