ahh hello ,my name is donald and i'm calling you from the windows
software center ,you computer has been sending error messages to us,
it is infected with viruses you have accidently downloaded when browsing
the web .....blah blah ....

can you switch your computer on and give me your ip adress ,i will show
you how to do this .....blah blah

i told him i was busy and to maybee call back later

so

If you have the number they called from, google it.

if they were getting messages from your pc about viruses then why would they need your ip addy.they would already have the scamming scum.. :twisted:

defo a scam, read about this the other day. If you fall for it they end up trying to charge you for some sort of software or subscription. Tell them you have a Mac or use Linux and try to have a laugh at their expense.

Confirm your pc has a virus.. tell them it contracted cyber-HIV after unprotected txt with a dirty laptop.
