wienmann levers

I need some help on chooseing some brake levers

I am putting some Weinmann 999 centrepull brakes on my 68 claude butler but have no idea what sort of levers are appropriate for this vintage. I have looked on classic lightweights and they mention a polished lever and later state a lever 144 Racing. I don't know if these are the same or what.

You need the 'normal' basic Weinmann lever that everyone knows about - except Velobase it seems!

Usually the fount of all knowledge it would appear that the more 'oddball' versions are listed but not the one that appeared on thousands of everyday bikes for years. Has anyone got a decent piccie of what he needs?

Isn't it this one on Velobase...dimpled levers and with the pivot red anodised aluminium ? from the 1950's onwards....

Somewhat rare? Unless there is some hidden special bit that I don't know about these are throw away bits on many cheap bikes.
Should be plenty about.

I think it may be the style of lettering that is different to the later ones that makes them 'rare' in his eyes.

Otherwise I suppose they are an example of the 'basic everyday Weinmann lever'.

They don't have the cable stops fitted though.
