The PCC did however sympathise with the complainant and questioned the "tastefulness" of the piece seeing as she alleged that she was only 15 at the time the photos were taken.

I knew a guy who liked taking pictures of old rally fords and would show them on a forum . He got a bit pissed when a magazine or two used a few small ones to fill space and asked for a fee , which is fair enough but once they are out there in public domain it's anybodys . Just think how many pics we find and post them to show people . The editor of the mag was a mate of his anyway so they compromised and he got printed credit for the use of the photos and he watermarked them after that .

I remember in the mid 90s at a bike trade show Raleigh had a large photo to display their bikes but it wasn't a Raleigh , it was really an s&m dirtbike with the stickers photoshopped out . They stole the photo for their own use and changed it to suit . The photographer kicked off when he was walking past and saw it He got suitable payment for it .

Well yeah, there is that... but my head was in cold, hard, cash - read: lots of folding money - mode..

was a bit miffed at the time but I'm over it now

Yeah some things aren't really worth worrying about . I used to source a lot of the content of weird stuff for a magazines last page but received no monies for it . A few of the questions in the letters pages were mine too

So I'm kinda guilty of the same exploitation that Loaded were . I never stole naked pics of girls with questionable age though
