Why would you pay £50 for a receipt ?

Insurance companies are writing the cheques out to the bike shops now to prevent fraud.

I know this as a customer at our shop had their bike nicked, we wrote a quote for a replacement & the cheque was payable to our company.

doesnt really prevent fraud though does it? they get the new bike and stick it straight on ebay to get the cash.

shouldn't this person have rescived the recipt when they brought the bike of him in the first place http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0189390005 :? id be kickng up a fuss if i brought that bike then 2 months later he's selling the recipt with is frame number on (as is with top end ish bikes) ebay as he could be acused of stealing it not good plus the warrenty for his bike if it was still in date (which it proberly is) id be kicking off in a big way  :x hope the cock gets in sh1t for fraud
