why me? just been fetling a bike; trying to put tension on a wheel
old dogs walking about distracted me spun the wheel round and taken thumb nail off
not a happy bunny :facepalm: .
am I the only one on this site who should not be let lose with tools?
can take owt apart but nowt goes back right :(

I can relate to that occupation :wink:

You're not alone mate. only today i removed a pedal from a chainset not attached to a bike, the force needed meant the spanner just 'goes'. Leaving two dents in each finger as my hand met the chainring, no blood but really knacked!

Keep that thumb covered and clean, no mild green fairy liquid in it! :wink:

I should be kept well away from tools of all descriptions. Trouble is, once in a blue moon everything on a project goes swimmingly. This happens just often enough to make me keep trying and basically make a bloody (often literally) hash of things for the rest of things I try.

I'm currently in the kitchen trying to make random bits of wood look vaguely like a propeller.


I predict blood!
