It wouldn't have sold for that much in North America I'm afraid. I personally think it is a cool bike (but what do I know), but I bought a Fisher Montare with the same XT kit (but in better condition) for about 80 pounds a couple of years ago - before the economy tanked. As others have said, it's a good donor bike (if you are happy with 6-speed) but the frame is a structural failure waiting to happen - plenty of cases of bonded TREK frames failing can be found here and all over the internet - I've actually seen it happen, and on a much later bike than this.
