Why did Zaskar not sell

I'm guessing it did not sell because the reserve was not met.

Plus £40 postage is a bit pricey to say the least
 
He's not helping himself by saying that he'll ship the bike with 'not very good' wheels. It might not matter to some people, but it's isn't an eBay-friendly approach.

Aside from that, the modern parts might not appeal to users of this site, but they probably do to the majority of his potential bidders. With that kit, decent wheels and the classic frame, it would sell for a lot more than that. Even without wheels, he'll perhaps do better next time he lists it.
 
Because it's too expensive. Kona Explosifs with decent wheels and middleburn stuff on them dont get over £300 including postage, why should a Zaskar with pizza trays for wheels get over £240?

Was watching that just out of interest.

Zaskar buyers dont like modern stuff on old frames, and 'Crap wheels' coupled with large postage and a high reserve I'd say.
