Why did Pace change their manufacturing?

thanks for the explanation...ive been wandering this myself when i got back into the bike game after my p.e and clots episode forced my hand in getting fit again.truth is ,i suppose,quality is better but it still takes away the whole ...wow ive just seen a pace .....feeling you would get.....it was summet special and now its gone......just like when saracen and claud butler sold out.........tis the end i tell ya......rushes out to buy a can of matt black paint in a can to spray bike .....

its not that i dont like new bikes ...i do..i can see they are well made and put together well with a decent parts list for a great price.(we all remember the cheaper bikes had crap on em which broke very quickly )suspension forks have come on a great deal since they first came out.but the first ones were awful ..now look what you get on ebay for 60 quid...no competition for quality...........they all just lack that character we love so much in the retro stuff (like anodising in red) which needs to come back............end of part 2 of the gibblekings small grumble.
