Nope, we only use Steve at Acorn, always a fantastic service!

Really? I've been using Steve for years and never had anything other than great work with a super quick turnaround.

Yep he’s a moron. I’ll take any opportunity to tell people to avoid him when they ask as he messed me around (and others)

Thread 'Acorn anodising - anyone successfully contacting them?'

Looking to get a frame anodised by acorn due to their good reputation.

Initial email enquiry around 2 months ago was answered by Steve , but no reply to latest email (2 weeks ago) asking to send the frame down to them for the job to be done.

No answer when calling either. I’ve tried quite a few times over the last few days at different times. Is this normal for them ?

Worry is that if they don’t respond and don’t answer how do you contact them once they have your items, resolve issues or to pay etc.

Any other places people use they can recommend failing I manage to get this sorted.

I'm sorry you've had issues, but as previously mentioned, from my own personal experience, I have no problem recommending him.

I've not had much success bar a one-man-band who I won't mention just yet as I'm, still, waiting for the parts to get back to me. (This is not Steve at Acorn by the way.)

So, I'm still pretty much out of other options for reputable anodisers in the UK who can handle 3DV for a start off. *Sighs*
