Who owns (or has owned) their dream bike?

to be honest, i do not know what my dream bike is anymore,..
i have owned some special bikes and still do but i do not have the feeling that one of these is my dreambike.
I was thinking when i got the Fat Ti that this was the ultimate one for me but i just don't know if it is.

I've owned most, Had the Manitou FS, GT STS DH, Got my Klein with Disc, my All UK build Prestige, and the first lust, a dirty old DB Apex

But Jez Has the Salsa a la carte jellybean I've lusted after ever since I saw JMC riding without his front tyre, and I think he has a Fat like Hemming used to run in the Dirt movie era?

I'm jealous and hate you........ Ha Ha

Yep, owned my Klein Attitude Team USA.

Currently riding the close second, my Pace.

:D 8)

Nice pair, so to speak.

I guess I owned my dream MTB (or it certainly was for a long time), a Pace Research RC100

Nowadays, I quite fancy;

Yeti 'ARC' (be it an original, or a current model)
Yeti 'ARC-X' (the cyclo-cross bike, someone was riding one of these last season & it's definately a fine looking bike)

Ridley 'X-Night'
Rodley Noah

Scott Addict CX-RC
Scott Addict Ltd (complete with Cavendish style 'rivets' :D )

At the time this was my dream bike.

1995 Zaskar LE upgraded in 97 to run with Pace RC-36 forks, Middleburn cranks and front hub, Pace chainrings, Hope ti-glide rear hub, Royce ti BB, XTR v-brakes, Sram ESP 900/9.0, Pace sub130 bars, Control Tech post and stem, Flite ti saddle, King headset and X-lite Alto-Pro one bar ends.

Certainly the most expensive bike I've owned, but in hindsight not perhaps the nicest to ride.
I guess that steel and in particular my modern P7 is more to my liking nowadays.

I remember a mag in about 1990 that had a supertest between the new RC100 and a White and black FAT Yo Eddy. They were impossibly cool bikes to a 18 year old and incredibly out of reach financially. I must have read that test a hundred times and loved both bikes but could not decide which one to have if by some stroke of luck I'd ever be able to choose one to own. I now have a mint RC100 and a mint white Yo, both as good as the day they were built-but that was yesterdays dream forfilled. My dream bike now would be a Breezer series 1 or a Cunningham Racer- trouble is I cannot decide which one if by a stroke of luck............

I do.

My Pace. Lusted after one for many a year and finally bought myself it as a present when I passed my degree.

A pic this afternoon shortly after being "washed" by Cheshire mud and rinsed by Manchester rain.
